CEE takes full advantage to promote a series of high-level academic exchanges and collaboration both at home and abroad. CEE plays an important role in hosting international meetings, inviting international scientists for lectures, and sponsoring young scientists to do research or study abroad.

In recent years, CEE has signed a series of agreements or memorandums of understanding on research collaboration and faculty and student exchange with many universities at home and abroad, including the University of Lund (Sweden), San Diego State University (USA), University of Maryland (USA), University of Hong Kong, Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan), Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan Central University, Academia Sinica (Taiwan), Ilan University (Taiwan)，Yunlin University of Science & Technology (Taiwan)，Taiwan Chung Hsing University, Taiwan Tunghai University and Taiwan University.
